Humanities Computing is dedicated to providing advanced, user-friendly technology solutions to the faculty and staff in the Division of the Humanities in support of their work and research. The group is led by Arno Bosse, Senior Director for Technology, and divided into three units, each with a distinct area of responsibility. Desktop Support is the first point of contact for faculty and staff for general technical assistance and troubleshooting, as well as new and replacement computers. Research Computing helps faculty find, support, and develop technological solutions for their research projects. Administrative & Academic Computing designs and maintains the servers and databases that support research and administrative projects and coordinates the development of new divisional Web sites.
