Spring Convocation Ceremony

Spring Convocation Ceremony

The Division of the Humanities holds a Graduation and Hooding Ceremony on the final Friday of spring quarter in conjunction with the University-wide Convocation. At the divisional event, graduates from all four quarters of the academic year are recognized, and doctoral candidates are hooded. There is no hooding ceremony in other quarters; doctoral graduates from the previous three quarters are invited to participate in the spring ceremony. Graduates of the MA programs are also invited to separate diploma ceremonies and celebratory events. Convocation schedules and other important information can be found at theĀ Convocation website.

Summer PhD Graduates can participate in the Spring Ceremony if their defense is completed no later than Wednesday of the seventh week of Spring Quarter
